Custom Designed Special Interest Vacations
S&L Travel and Tours can organize custom-designed, special-interest and adventure vacations (diving, fishing, archaeological tour, natural history tours, etc.) for individuals and groups. These packages will be quoted on an individual basis based on a minimum number of paying guests. To organize all-inclusive packaged tours, we need the following information: Size of group, length of stay, budget per person, time of year for travel, special interest or needs. Additional information on this service is available on request.
Included in Cost
All customized itineraries may include: Meet/greet, tax and service charge, accommodation, meals, guide and all transfers.
All day tours include: lunch, professional English-speaking or Spanish-speaking guides and/or specialist, transfers, boats as required and one entrance fee per person only per day tour.
Not Included in Cost
Not included in cost are tips to drivers, guides, boat crew and bellhops, bar and gift purchases, laundry, items of a personal nature, and entertainment not mentioned in the itinerary.
Tour Leaders
Tour leaders with groups of 15 or more paying guest will travel at no charge.
Foreign Language Guides
Foreign language guides are available at extra charge.
Deposits and Payments
On all tours/packages a deposit of US$100 is required to hold reservations beyond 10 days following the date of booking. Balance in full is due not later than 45 days prior to scheduled tour departure. If payment is not received, we hold the option to collect the funds directly from the client.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations must be in writing. On cancellations received more than 45 days prior to scheduled tour departure, a full refund, less expenses incurred, will be made. These costs include telex, telephone and fax charges made to confirm as well as to cancel reservations and any airline, hotel, ground operator or other supplier penalties incurred. On cancellation received less than 45 and more than 15 days prior to scheduled tour departure, a refund will be made, less a cancellation fee of 25% of the total cost plus any of the above mentioned penalties incurred. On cancellations received 15 or less days prior to scheduled tour departure, there will be no refund UNLESS we are able to resell the cancelled space. There can be absolutely no refund of any unused accommodations or services in the case of "no shows" or of cancellations once a tour has commenced.
Changes
A fee of US$10 will be charged for every change made to the tour or package after confirmation has been given.
Group Deposits and Payments
A deposit of 25% is required upon receipt of confirmation. A second deposit of 25% is required 90 days prior to scheduled tour departure. The balance in full is due no later than 45 days prior to scheduled tour departure. If payment is not received, we hold the option to collect the funds from the client.
