Cancellations and Refunds For Groups
Cancellations must be in writing. On cancellations received more than 90 days prior to scheduled tour departure, a cancellation fee of US$100 will be charged plus any airline, hotel, ground operator or other supplier penalties incurred. On cancellations received less than 90 days and 45 or more days prior to scheduled tour departure, a cancellation fee of US$500 will be charged plus any of the above mentioned penalties incurred. Cancellation fees for cancellations occurring less than 45 days prior to scheduled tour departure will be quoted on an individual basis.
Credit Cards and Currency
Master Card and Visa are the main credit cards used in Belize. American Express is used on a limited basis. It is not necessary to exchange US dollars for Belize dollars as most hotels and restaurants will accept US currency at a rate of one US dollar to two Belize dollars.
Documentation
A valid passport is required for travel to Belize. British and Commonwealth citizens and citizens of the USA who hold return or onward tickets do not require visas. Visitors from most other countries require visas.
Responsibility
The responsibility of S&L Travel and Tours is limited. It acts only as an agent for the passenger in regards to travel whether by motor coach, private car, boat, aircraft or any other conveyance and assumes no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned by acts of God, dangers, incident to the sea, fire, breakdown in machinery, acts of government or other authorities, de jure or de facto, wars, whether declared or not, hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, pilferage, epidemics, medical or customs regulations, from any causes beyond S&L Travel and Tours control or from any loss or damage resulting from improper passports, visas or other documents. S&L Travel and Tours cannot accept responsibility for loss or additional expenses due to delay or changes in schedules or other causes. The right is reserved to decline any passenger should such person's health or general deportment impede the operation of the services to the detriment of other passengers. S&L Travel and Tours reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any itinerary, as deemed necessary for the carrying out of the tour/package, either before departure or en route. Baggage is carried at passengers own risk. The issuance of tickets and vouchers shall be deemed to be consent to the above conditions.
Payment
Payment can be by certified funds (Cashiers Cheque, Bank Draft, Money Order, etc.) and mailed to the below mentioned address or preferably wire-transferred direct to the following bank:
